Scope of Services

Understood. provides independent interpretation of adult care and discharge recommendations.

Services include structured review of submitted documentation, a scheduled consultation session, and a written Action Map outlining considerations and next steps.

Understood. does not provide:

• Medical advice

• Legal advice

• Clinical diagnosis or treatment recommendations

• Representation

• Care coordination

• Facility placement endorsements

• Direct communication with hospitals, facilities, insurers, or providers

All decisions remain the responsibility of the client.

Payment Policy

Full payment is required at the time of booking in order to confirm a session.

Services are private-pay and are not billed to insurance.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Sessions may be rescheduled once with at least 24 hours notice.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable.

Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice will be treated as a forfeited session.

Document Submission

Clients are responsible for submitting relevant documentation at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session.

Incomplete or late submissions may impact the quality or scope of interpretation provided.

Limitation of Liability

Understood. provides independent interpretation and strategic perspective based on information supplied by the client.

No guarantees are made regarding outcomes, insurance approvals, facility availability, or provider decisions.

Understood. is not responsible for actions taken by third-party providers, institutions, or insurers.

Confidentiality

Client information is handled with discretion and used solely for the purpose of providing the requested service.

Electronic communication carries inherent risk. By engaging services, clients acknowledge and accept these risks.

Not an Emergency Service

Understood. is not an emergency or crisis service.

If you or your loved one is experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or seek immediate medical attention.

Understood. does not provide urgent medical intervention, real-time discharge placement, or crisis response services. All consultations are scheduled and provided within the defined scope of service.
